K. Hovnanian Homes has broken ground on its 538-home Four Seasons community in Parkland.

The project in the northwest corner of Broward County along Loxahatchee Road is a 55-and-older, active adult community with homes ranging from 2,000 square feet with two bedrooms to 3,600 square feet with three bedrooms. It will have 12 models. Prices range from the $400,000s to the $700,000s.

The community will feature 12 lakes, fountains, walking trails, a clubhouse with a fitness room, a ballroom, card and billiard rooms, an arts and crafts room, two swimming pools, tennis courts, a putting green and a pro shop.

New Jersey-based K. Hovnanian is partnering with New York-based GTIS Partners for the Four Seasons.

“The active adult market segment is a huge beneficiary of the baby boomers entering into their 50s, 60s and 70s, and they want to be in new, highly amenitized communities in locations like Parkland with excellent weather, great shopping, and lifestyle options,” GTIS Partners Senior Managing Director Robert Vahradian said in a news release.
