Miami Beach condo-hotel approved for 70 units

6080 Collins Avenue Beach House will have 70 hotel condo units.

A group of Argentinean developers announced the 70-unit condo hotel 6080 Collins Avenue Beach House.

Alex Rakover and Pablo Hoberman, of Urbis Real Estate, and Domus Group’s Flavio Rossato are the developers of the six-story project. Units start at $263,000. The studio units average 385 square feet and the one-bedroom units average 460 square feet. Each unit will have a balcony or a wrap-around terrace.

“The residences at 6080 Collins Avenue Beach House offer a tranquil retreat. Rooms are bright with abundant natural light from high-impact windows that open on to a deep private terrace where you can while away the hours reading, chatting or taking in the views as you enjoy soothing ocean breezes,” said Ann Nortmann of the Sandberg Nortmann Group, the broker on the project.

The developers hope to break ground on the $30 million project in fall 2015 and complete it in winter 2016. It was designed by Chisholm Architects. Plans include a rooftop pool, hot tub, gym and water wall.

Unit owners must place their condos in the hotel rental program to benefit from the marketing and promotion of the property. They can use the unit at any time by reserving it. The units will come furnished, including a 46-inch TV and a sofa bed.

The hotel would be managed by the Eskape Collection, which also manages 1818 Meridian House and 1215 on West Avenue in Miami Beach.
