New York developer launches South Beach condo project starting at $1.2M per unit

JMH Development and PSB Capital unveiled the details of their Three Hundred Collins project on South Beach, where condos will range from $1.2 million to $9 million.

The 19-unit project will be constructed at Collins Avenue and Third Street in the South of Fifth neighborhood. New York-based JMH is also the developer of the Starwood Aloft Hotel in Miami Beach and it’s planning another condo along Indian Creek Drive.

It acquired the property on Collins Avenue for $13.61 million in 2014.

“By blending the natural environment with cool, contemporary design, we think Three Hundred Collins creates the perfect balance our buyers are looking for,” Jason Halpern, founder and managing partner of JMH, said in a news release. “With the art and culture of SoFi, as well as amazing shops and restaurants right on its doorstep, Three Hundred Collins offers a truly unique retreat right in the heart of Miami.”

Thomas Juul-Hansen is the designer of Three Hundred Collins and Urban Robot’s Justine Velez crafted the landscaping. Condos will range from one bedroom and 995 square feet to four bedrooms and 3,700 square feet. The units will feature white oak floors and stone finishes, spacious terraces, balconies throughout and floor to ceiling windows. The building will have a 75-foot rooftop pool, fitness center and a private garden.

“I believe in efficient spaces and sumptuous materialization, extensive customization and a restrained palette,” said Danish designer Juul-Hansen. “Our vision is to create a modern, pure and practical space for an elegant and redefined luxury living environment.”

Three Hundred Collins should be ready in 2017. One Sotheby’s International Realty has the exclusive sales and marketing listing.
